Mirror Mirror (2012)

Jangan sampai Pangeran Andrew Alcott (Armie Hammer) terpikat pada kecantikan dan kebaikan Snow White (Lily Collins). Kalau itu yang terjadi, musnah sudah harapan Ratu Clementianna (Julia Roberts) untuk bisa menjadi penguasa di negeri makmur itu. Segala cara harus dilakukan untuk memastikan kekuasaan tak jatuh ke tangan Snow White, sang pewaris tahta.

Di luar pengetahuan sang raja, Clementianna pun merancang sebuah skenario untuk mengenyahkan Snow White dari kerajaan. Konon, di dalam hutan belantara ada makhluk ganas yang tak pernah membiarkan ada manusia berkeliaran di sana. Ini adalah tempat yang paling ideal untuk membuang Snow White. Tak mungkin gadis cantik yang lemah lembut ini bisa selamat dari makhluk ganas penunggu hutan itu.

Celakanya, ada hal yang tak diperhitungkan oleh sang ratu jahat. Snow White yang seharusnya dimangsa binatang buas justru malah diselamatkan oleh sekelompok perampok. Dari kawanan perampok ini Snow White belajar melindungi diri sendiri. Dalam waktu singkat, putri cantik yang lemah lembut ini berubah menjadi wanita tangguh yang tak mau begitu saja menerima kekalahan. Saat pembalasan telah tiba dan kini keselamatan Clementianna berada di ujung tanduk.

Kisah yang ditawarkan Mirror Mirror ini jelas sudah tak asing lagi. Film arahan Tarsem Singh ini memang diadaptasi dari kisah legendaris itu. Bedanya, Tarsem telah memodifikasi kisah klasik itu menjadi suguhan fantastis yang siap menghibur para penikmat film.

Doraemon The New Record of Nobita Spaceblazer (2009)

Seven years ago, Lopplc and Morina were playing at a park. Suddenly they felt an earthquake on the Koya Koya Planet. The quake was so massive that the planet was destroyed. Everyone had to escape using a giant ship. A sudden bolt of lightning damaged the ship, causing a power failure. The Professor (who was Morina's father) wanted to fix the spaceship, but another lightning strike killed him. Meanwhile Nobita's friends get him to retrieve a ball from a group of tough highschool baseball players, but they chase him and he dropped into a manhole. Nobita started to dream about the things that happen in the alternate universe. Meanwhile, the two alternate universe creatures, Lopplc and Chammy, are escaping from an enemy ship. While Nobita is sleeping, he suddenly feels the floor is trembling like an earthquake. A little rabbit from the alternate universe named Chammy opens the door between the dimensions using a hammer. Nobita wakes up and Doraemon hears somebody steal food from the fridge. Chammy is caught by Doraemon and Nobita. She shows them the passageway through Nobita's floor into the spaceship. After they enter the spaceship, they see Koya Koya Planet, and meet Lopplc (who is now 12 years old). Originally, Nobita, Gian, Suneo, Shizuka, and Doraemon intended to play in the alternate universe, but they are not used to the graviation on that planet. Eventually, Nobita and Doraemon helps the villagers to fight their enemies, along with Gian, Shizuka, Dorami, and Shizuka.

Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Great Adventure Into the Underworld - The Seven Magic Users (2007)

Nobita requests of Doraemon the Moshimo-box and wishes for the world to become a place where the use of magic is possible. Witchcraft replaces science and technology and everyone makes use of it on their daily lives, except for Nobita, who, like usual, isn't very good at conjuring spells. Frustrated, he plans on returning things to their past state, but his mother threw the Moshimo-box away.
One day, Doraemon and his friends meet Professor Mangetsu, who studies magic and magical beings such as goblins, and his daughter Miyoko, and are warned of the dangerous approximation of the "star of the Underworld" to the Earth's orbit.
With the future of the planet at stake, the group must travel to the Underworld and pierce the heart of the Underworld King with a silver dart, as detailed in the ancient texts of "The Chronicles of the Underworld". Their attempts are, however, thwarted and Miyoko captured.
Doraemon and his friends then decided to use the Time Machine to return to the past and, using Dorami's Moshimo-box, they manage to restore the Earth. The events on the Underworld continue, however, to take place in a Parallel Universe, where Miyoko is still captive. As a result, the group is once again forced to travel to the Underworld and defeat its tyrannical ruler once and for all.

Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance (2012)

Meski memiliki kekuatan yang jauh melampaui manusia biasa namun Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) tak pernah menganggapnya sebagai anugerah. Buatnya menjadi Ghost Rider adalah sebuah kutukan. Karena itu juga Johnny memutuskan untuk mengasingkan diri di sebuah tempat di Eropa Timur. Sayangnya, meski sudah bersembunyi namun takdir tetap mengikutinya.
Awalnya Johnny Blaze memang hanya ingin menyelamatkan ayahnya yang sakit-sakitan. Celakanya yang datang sebagai pertolongan justru adalah sang iblis yang ingin memanfaatkan Johnny. Sebagai tebusan, Johnny harus menyerahkan jiwanya untuk sang iblis. Johnny berhasil mengakali sang iblis namun kekuatannya sebagai Ghost Rider tetap melekat pada dirinya.
Suatu ketika, seorang pendeta mendatangi Johnny untuk meminta tolong. Ada seorang ibu dan anaknya yang saat ini sedang jadi incaran iblis berwujud manusia. Roarke Carrigan (Johnny Whitworth) sebenarnya adalah manusia biasa yang mendapatkan kekuatan dari sang iblis dan kini menjadi pengikut sang iblis (Ciarán Hinds) yang ingin merasuki bayi yang baru saja lahir.

Safe House (2012)

Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) memang seorang agen CIA namun selama ini tugasnya adalah menjaga sebuah rumah persembunyian yang terletak di Cape Town. Tugas Matt tak terlalu banyak dan ini membuat Matt makin bosan. Celakanya, saat tugas besar datang, Matt malah dibuat kewalahan karena tugas ini melibatkan Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington) buronan CIA yang baru saja menyerahkan diri.

Tobin sebenarnya adalah mantan agen CIA yang membelot. Selama bertahun-tahun Tobin menjadi buronan. Ia memang licin sekaligus berbahaya. Entah sudah berapa banyak rahasia negara yang dicuri Tobin dan dijual pada pihak asing. Entah mengapa Tobin menyerahkan diri padahal bisa saja ia melarikan diri. Tobin adalah salah satu agen terbaik CIA.

Tak berapa lama setelah Matt mulai menjaga Tobin yang disembunyikan di Cape Town, rumah persembunyian yang seharusnya aman itu diserang sekawanan teroris. Hampir saja Matt gagal menyelamatkan Tobin yang memang harus ia lindungi. Kini keduanya berada di tempat terbuka dan mau tak mau Matt harus bisa mengendalikan Tobin yang jauh lebih profesional. Tobin sendiri ternyata menyimpan rahasia dan ini membuat posisi Matt jadi semakin sulit. Tak jelas lagi siapa yang bisa dipercaya.

Denzel Washington memang sering kebagian peran protagonis walaupun di beberapa film aktor ini juga berhasil membuktikan bahwa ia bisa memerankan karakter antagonis. Sekali lagi Denzel kebagian peran antagonis dan melihat trailer dan sinopsis yang beredar, bisa jadi Safe House ini bakal jadi film yang menarik untuk ditonton.
